Dormant accounts are those which have had previous activity and have: • No performed activity for a period of six consecutive months; or • Dropped to zero balance for a period of six consecutive months.

In order to ensure compliance with industry best practices and guidance, FXCM must have systems and controls in place to deal with dormant accounts or relationships, to be able to identify future reactivation and unauthorized use.
