Nvidia wins conditional China access as US demands 25% slice

President Trump says Nvidia will be permitted to sell its H200 AI chips to "approved customers" in China and elsewhere, with the U.S. taking a 25% cut of revenue. Xi Jinping "responded positively," Trump said, adding that similar rules will apply to AMD, Intel and others. The arrangement follows an earlier — unrealized — plan for Nvidia and AMD to share 15% of China chip sales with Washington, and comes after China warned firms against using Nvidia's H20 chip. The H200 is more advanced than the H20 but not Nvidia's top tier. Nvidia shares rose about 2% after hours, with the company calling the policy a balanced approach that supports U.S. jobs and manufacturing amid an intense U.S.–China semiconductor rivalry.

Bullish Signals Emerge on the Daily

NVDA.us EMAs are turning constructive. The faster green EMA is crossing above the slower orange EMA, a favourable shift in trend. At the same time, the RSI is pushing above the 50 line, signalling strengthening momentum. If the RSI holds above 50 and the EMAs continue to build angle and separation after the crossover, NVDA.us is likely to press higher.
