Elon Musk has offered to acquire Twitter (TWTR.us) for $54.20/share. Mr Musk sent a letter to the board saying that this was his "best and final" offer, which Twitter is currently reviewing. This proposal comes after Musk disclosed a 9.2% position in the social media company. According to the 13D filing to the SEC, Musk delivered a letter on 13 April, which contained a "non-binding proposal" to acquire the company's outstanding common stock. TWTR.us is trading above its black 50-day moving average, and the moving average turned up as the news of Musk's stake in the company became public.
