Why are Cryptocurrency CFDs being delisted?

Forex Capital Markets Limited (“FXCM LTD”) is authorized and regulated in the United Kingdom by the Financial Conduct Authority (“FCA”). Registration Number 217689.

The FCA has recently released guidance that it considers these products to be ill-suited for retail consumers and is banning the sale, marketing and distribution to all retail consumers of any derivatives (i.e. CFDs, options and futures) that reference unregulated transferable crypto assets by firms acting in, or from, the UK.
