What is shown in the Accounts Window?

Elements of the Accounts Tab:

• Account
  • ​This is your FXCM Account Number.
• Equity
  • ​Your ‘real time’ balance. This is your balance +/- any floating open positions.
• Balance
  • ​The value of your account without taking into account profits and losses on open positions.
• Day P/L
  • ​The profit and loss for the day’s trading session. This resets every day at 5:00 PM EST
• UsdMr
  • ​The amount of account equity currently being used to maintain open positions.
• UsblMr
  • ​The amount of equity that is, currently, not being used to maintain positions. This measure tells you:

1. The amount of equity available to open new positions.
2. The amount that existing positions can move against you before you receive a margin call.

• Usble Mr %
  • The amount of usable margin as a percentage of available equity.
• MC (Margin Call)
  • ​In this box you will see either Y (Yes) or N (No)
