Rates Window

Learn how to select your favorite pairs and view market spreads and real-time market prices.

The rates window displays the currency pairs and CFDs that are available for trading. You can scroll through the default list of instruments with a swipe of your finger, selecting the settings icon, and then symbols allows you to add and remove instruments from your tradable list.

FXCM offers over 50 instruments for you to trade and you can see prices change second by second. The spread, which is the difference between the buy price and the sell price is listed here. This number is important because it is a component of your transaction cost, along with the instrument you were trading and your trade size. The highest price and the lowest price of the trading day are listed here, and the current rollover interest rates are listed here.
