Dear traders — today’s market has three major themes:

🔥 Oil above $90
📈 Long-term bond yields near multi-decade highs
🏠 U.S. housing and industrial data ahead

Monday’s Wall Street close:
Dow -0.51%
S&P 500 -0.52%
Nasdaq -0.31%.

Meanwhile, Brent jumped roughly 2.6% to $90.81 and Gold gained around 1% to $4,420 as Middle East risk increased and the dollar weakened.

🟡 GOLD WATCH — XAUUSD
Quick View:
Gold gained around 1.0% to approximately $4,420.

Key levels:
$4,400 support / $4,450 pivot / $4,500 resistance

Why watch it?
Gold currently has support from:
• weaker USD
• lower near-term Fed-hike expectations
• geopolitical uncertainty

But one important risk remains:
⚠️ long-term Treasury yields are still rising.
The U.S. 30-year yield reached its highest level since 2007 on Monday.

🔥 OIL WATCH — WTI / BRENT
Monday:
Brent +2.6% → approximately $90.81
WTI +2.7% → approximately $84.66.

Early Tuesday Brent is around $91 after the U.S.–Iran truce expired and Tehran adopted more aggressive rhetoric.

Key levels:
Brent $88 / $90-$91 / $92
WTI $82 / $84-$85 / $87

Oil remains one of the market’s biggest event-risk products.

Any escalation — or sudden diplomatic progress — may cause rapid reversals.

💵 FX WATCH — USDJPY / EURUSD
USDJPY
USDJPY remains around the upper-158 to 159 area.

Key levels:
158.00 / 159.00 / 160.00

The pair remains caught between:
• softer Fed expectations
• rising Japanese bond yields
• BOJ tightening expectations
• intervention risk near 160

Japan’s 10-year government yield has reached around 2.95%, its highest in three decades.

EURUSD
EURUSD traded around 1.1580, after reaching approximately 1.1614 on Monday as the dollar weakened.

Key levels:
1.1550 / 1.1600 / 1.1650

📈 US INDEX WATCH — US30 / NAS100 / SPX500
Monday:
Dow -0.51%
S&P 500 -0.52%
Nasdaq -0.31%.

Energy was the only positive major S&P sector.

The market is balancing two opposing forces:

✅ softer U.S. data may reduce Fed pressure
versus
⚠️ higher Oil and long-term yields may pressure equity valuations.

🤖 AI STOCKS WATCH — NVIDIA / SEMICONDUCTORS

Monday was another example of strong sector rotation inside AI.

Semiconductor Index +1.6%
Micron +4%
Applied Materials +5.5%

Meanwhile, the broader software/services group fell around 2.8%.

Latest references:
Nvidia: $225.01, broadly flat
Tesla: -0.86%
Alphabet: -0.52%
Intel: +0.95%.

Key AI focus:
• Nvidia around $220-$225
• Micron and memory-chip momentum
• Applied Materials follow-through
• AI data-centre spending
• corporate borrowing for AI investment
• long-term bond yields
• NAS100 breadth

AI demand remains strong, but the cost of financing that investment is becoming increasingly important.

HKG33

Key levels:
25,000 / 25,500 / 26,000
