Dear traders — Gold just suffered one of its sharpest recent falls, while Oil remains above $105 and Treasury yields stay above 5%. Today, JOLTS + Consumer Confidence could decide whether the “higher-for-longer” trade extends.
🟡 GOLD — biggest move
Spot Gold fell about 3.6% → $4,137, after touching $4,111, its lowest in more than seven weeks.
Why? High Oil → inflation risk → more Fed tightening → higher yields / stronger USD.
Watch: $4,100-$4,120 support / $4,150-$4,175 pivot / $4,200-$4,250 resistance.

Monday settlement: Brent $105.28 | WTI $92.60.
Tuesday Asia: Brent ~$105.91, WTI ~$93.32.
Hormuz supply risk remains high, although renewed U.S.-Iran diplomacy could create sharp two-way moves.

Dow -0.67% | S&P 500 -0.77% | Nasdaq -0.92%.
One exception: Nvidia ~1.6% after announcing a record $150bn additional share buyback. AI remains supportive, but 5% yields are raising the cost of capital.
