Dear traders — Nasdaq hit another record while Oil dropped below $100. Today, Global Flash PMIs and U.S. Oil inventories move into focus.
📈 NASDAQ / AI
Nasdaq +0.45% → 27,244, while S&P 500 was flat and Dow -0.36%.
AI remains the main equity driver. Micron and other AI-linked stocks supported tech, while Alibaba added to the theme with its new Zhenwu V900 AI chip and plans for a much larger next-generation model.
🟡 GOLD — ~$4,339 settlement
Gold edged lower as a firm USD and further Fed-tightening expectations remained headwinds.
Watch: $4,300-$4,320 / $4,340-$4,375 / $4,400-$4,425.
🔥 OIL — key volatility focus
Brent fell toward $98.30 | WTI ~$94.59.
Saudi crude flows are improving and Iran has signalled a possible reopening of Hormuz if U.S. pressure eases. Brent has recovered slightly toward $99.22 this morning.
