FXCM markets limited ("Fxcm markets") account transfer form

Please contact FXCM in order to learn more about transferring to FXCM Markets prior to submitting this form. Residents of the United States, Canada, China, Europe, and other countries are ineligible to open an account with FXCM Markets. FXCM Markets is an operating subsidiary within the FXCM group of companies (collectively the "FXCM Group"). FXCM Markets deposits will be made to a bank account in the United States. FXCM Markets is not regulated and is not under the jurisdiction of the FCA. As such, please be advised that your account will no longer be held with Forex Capital Markets Limited ("FXCM UK") which is a regulated entity by the Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA") hence, your account will not be subject to the regulatory protection provided to clients of FXCM UK. Transfer instructions

This form is intended for FXCM UK clients who wish to transfer their account to FXCM Markets. If you are currently an FXCM UK account holder and would like to transfer this account to FXCM Markets, please complete the required fields (*) below as pertains to your live trading account.

Please note that in order to transfer your account, all of your open positions must be closed. You will be notified via e-mail when your account is transferred. You will receive a new account number and password.

Moving an account to FXCM Markets involves changes to your account. Before you fill out this form, please take note of the following differences:

  • Funding and withdrawal instructions are different, click here for more information.
  • FXCM UK Terms of Business and Client Money Rules will not apply to this account.
  • Default Margin for FXCM Markets Accounts is 400:1 FX, 200:1 CFDs
  • Initial account balance minimum

I authorise and direct FXCM UK to transfer the above account to an account with FXCM Markets. In providing such authorisation and direction, I consent to the following conditions:

  1. I have read and agreed to the provisions of the FXCM Markets Terms of Business (the "Agreement"), and consent to all terms therein.
  2. I understand that if my FXCM UK account was introduced by a Referring Agent, my new FXCM Markets account will be setup with the same Referring Agent.
  3. I acknowledge and agree that the Agreement will govern the Account with FXCM Markets and that all of the provisions of the Agreement are deemed incorporated by reference into this form.
  4. I accept that I have requested a full balance transfer out of my FXCM UK trading account and into an FXCM Markets trading account.
  5. If my trading account is denominated in a different currency other than the currency I selected above, my existing funds will be converted at a conversion rate with markup.
  6. I am required to monitor my account regularly to ensure that available margin exists in the account prior to submitting this request and I shall hold FXCM UK and its affiliates harmless of any and all claims regarding such funds transfer upon proper credit to my new FXCM Markets account.
  7. I agree to execute and deliver, or cause to be executed and delivered, any other agreements or instruments which may reasonably be requested in respect of the transfer of the Account and the establishment thereof as an Account with FXCM Markets.
  8. I authorise and direct FXCM UK to provide FXCM Markets with any personal information related to my Account which may reasonably be required in order to permit FXCM Markets to properly establish and administer the Account. Please read FXCM Markets Privacy Policy.
