Trading Hours & Margin Updates

FXCM's trading hours vary by product. For forex, trading opens between 5:00 PM and 5:15 PM on Sunday and closes on Friday at 4:55 PM ET. For regular CFD trading hours click here. CFD Holidays hours are updated monthly here.

Margin requirements can periodically change to account for changes in market volatility and currency exchange rates. FXCM does not anticipate more than one update a month, however extreme market movements or event risk may necessitate unscheduled intra-month updates. View upcoming margin requirements.
