The 100K account is designed for the advanced or professional trader who is looking to trade larger lot sizes. Whereas the lot size on the mini account is only 10,000 units, the 100K account deals in standard FX lots of 100,000 units
of the base currency. Trading in larger lots sizes translates into about $10 a pip on a Euro trade.
There is no maximum to the number of lots traders can trade on the 100K account. Orders are executed and confirmed within seconds. The FX Trading Station never requests the size of a trader’s potential order, or which side of the market he’s trading prior to giving him a bid/offer quote. FXCM's No Dealing Desk aims to provide transparent and fair execution.
** Every trade is executed back to back with one of the world's premier banks or financial institutions, which compete to provide FXCM with bid and ask prices. The best spreads available to FXCM are streamed to you with a small markup, which is generally one pip or less for major currency pairs.
The minimum deposit for a regular FXCM trading account is $2,000. However, FXCM recommends depositing between $5,000 and $10,000 to allow more flexibility for opening multiple positions and to prevent premature margin calls that would result from an overly leveraged position. FXCM advises traders with less than $10,000 to trade on the mini account, who’s fractional lot size and reduced margin requirements are more conducive to smaller account balances.

1+212.897.7669. Following that, government regulation requires that you send copies of two IDs to FXCM. One piece of the identification must be government issued photo identification, and one piece of identification must contain an address that matches the address on the application. Our administrative staff will process your application within one business day and contact you via email with instructions for funding the account.
