FXCM Launched a New Forex Managed Account Program with a $1,000 Minimum Deposit

New York, April 1, 2008—FXCM, one of the largest Forex Dealer Members, recently introduced a new managed account program: the Short-Term-Opportunity Aggressive Program.

The Short-Term-Opportunity Aggressive Program utilizes four different trading approaches:

• Short-term range trading
• Short-term breakout opportunities
• Long-term trends
• Long-term carry trading

The majority of the trades generated by this program have short-term time horizons, while longer-term systems are used to stabilize the short-term volatility.

The Short-Term-Opportunity Aggressive Program also applies a higher degree of leverage; consequently, the Program moves in accordance with the four, previously mentioned trading approaches, but with higher gains and losses on a percentage basis as well.

FXCM added the Short-Term-Opportunity Aggressive Program to their already popular Sentiment and Sentiment Aggressive Managed Programs. The Short-Term-Opportunity Aggressive Program was designed to have a low correlation with the Sentiment Programs. Short-Term and Sentiment Programs won't necessarily move against each other, but they should be independent. Investors are able to diversify their portfolios by investing in both programs.*
