FXCM Ltd. Forex System Selector (FSS) Account Transfer Form

If you are currently a Forex Capital Markets, LLC ("FXCM LLC") Forex System Selector (FSS) account holder and would like to transfer this account to Forex Capital Markets Limited ("FXCM Ltd."), please complete the required fields (*) below as pertains to your live trading account. FXCM LLC is regulated in the USA by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and National Futures Association (NFA). FXCM Ltd. is regulated in the UK by the Financial Services Authority (FSA).

You will be notified by email after your FXCM account has been transferred to FXCM Ltd.

By transferring your account to FXCM Ltd., you will also have the ability to:

  • Place stops and limits on individual trades.†
  • Hedge positions. Hedging allows traders to hold both a buy and a sell position for the same currency pair in the same account at the same time. Additionally, stops and limits can be used to manage risk as an alternative to entry orders.‡

Before you fill out the transfer form please note the following:

  • This form is only for FXCM LLC Forex System Selector (FSS) accounts to transfer to FXCM Ltd.
  • All FSS accounts transferred to FXCM Ltd will not see a change to their current margin settings. After the transfer, account holders will have the option to request a different margin setting via MYFXCM.com. Margin as low as 0.5% of the notional trade size, plus a small cushion is available to FXCM Ltd. accounts.

A new FXCM Ltd account will be created in the same denomination as your existing FXCM LLC account.

Note: Corporate Accounts must submit Articles of Organization that state the purpose for which the company was formed, indicate the members of the company, and permissibility of company funds to be used in investments, or other similar authenticating documents with this application. This documentation should also include a breakdown of the shares of the company. If any shareholder owns more than 25% of the company, FXCM Ltd will require an ID and proof of residence from that individual. Please submit this documentation via fax to 44 (0) 20 7 398 4051 or via e-mail as a scanned image to FXCM Operations at admin@fxcm.co.uk.

I authorize and direct FXCM LLC to transfer the above account to a Forex System Selector (FSS) account with FXCM Ltd. In providing such authorization and direction, I consent to the following conditions:

  1. I have read, agreed to the provisions of the FXCM Ltd. Agreement (the "Agreement"), and consent to all Terms of Business:

  2. I shall be classified as a professional client. Please ensure you read, understand, and agree to the following documentation before submitting your request:
  3. I acknowledge and agree that the Agreement will govern the Account with FXCM Ltd. and that all of the provisions of the Agreement are deemed incorporated by reference into this form
  4. I agree to execute and deliver, or cause to be executed and delivered, the Letter of Direction ("LOD") and the fee structure therein, in addition to any other agreements or instruments which may reasonably be requested in respect of the transfer of the Account and the establishment thereof as an Account with FXCM Ltd.
  5. I authorize and direct FXCM LLC to provide FXCM Ltd. with any personal information related to my Account which may reasonably be required in order to permit FXCM Ltd. to properly establish and administer the Account.
  6. I acknowledge and agree that the FSA's client money rules will apply. Available margin must exist in order for funds to be transferred, as removal of funds may result in a margin call. I shall hold FXCM Ltd. and its affiliates harmless of any and all claims regarding such funds transfer upon proper credit to the above named account.

** You will receive a confirmation from FXCM Ltd within 2 business days of the scheduled change. If you do not receive a confirmation from FXCM please contact client services.

† When your account is transferred to FXCM Ltd, any Net Stop or Net Limit Orders that you placed while trading with FXCM LLC will be removed, since FXCM Ltd accounts place stops and limits on individual positions instead. FXCM suggests closing all open trades in your account before the transfer, or making sure to set new stops or limits as soon as trading starts on the Sunday following the transfer.

‡ Please note that any pending entry orders in your account will open new positions if executed after your account is transferred to FXCM Ltd, rather than close any existing positions. FXCM suggests managing or deleting your pending entry orders prior to your account transfer.
