New York, January 21, 2009—FXCM Micro, (www.fxcmmicro.com) the discount brokerage division of FXCM, is upping the ante in its King of the Micro contest. Awarding $40,000 in cash prizes, FXCM Micro wants you to be the King of the Micro.

FXCM's popular live-trading monthly competition, which has been running for over four years, will award cash prizes to the top three Micro-account holders with the highest percentage gain.

All participants of the King of the Micro contest will receive the FXCM Power Course – free – to improve their chances to be King.

There is no registration needed, and the requirements are simple: all live Micro clients with $500 in their Micro account at the beginning of the month are automatically entered. And traders must make at least ten trades during the month.

Clients of FXCM Micro will trade forex with super-low spreads, automated execution, and 1K lot sizes. FXCM Micro is offered for individual, self-traded accounts.
